I recently completed a stay at 'Harrah's Kansas City'. It was old, the carpet going to casino…I remember when they put it down new in 1996-97. Most of the employees don’t appear to care except for a few waitresses, who were kind enough to bring us coffee in the mornings. Are they just hanging on? They kept running a video from Caesar’s mgnt company talking about how great the organization is…and apparently this guy hasn’t been at this location for a long time or never…because what he talked about their “standards” is not what we saw during our stay. Only one restaurant open now…lots of empty areas. No outlets for charging your phones, no safe and the bed headboard had greasy, dirty stains! UGH! We didn’t realize they don’t clean the rooms anymore? WHAT? We had to track down the housekeeper for towels the next day and go to the front desks for coffee. ”you can stay in the new tower but there isn’t any furniture in it except a bed” A bed? No chair or table? “No, we don’t have those in yet?” We had to go to the KC tower. We had booked the new tower and they told us.
